It is a wonderful thing how many records are now available at our fingertips for genealogical research, so different from just a few years ago, when lots of things were only available on microfilm. With this convenience come some concerns, of course, in particular confidentiality of personal data.  At Grafted Trees™ Genealogy, we are very aware of this, and will never disclose confidential information without prior consent. Our databases are protected by firewalls and encryption, so you can be confident of their security. Having said this, much of the productivity in genealogical research depends on access to records, so there may be times when we request some records be shared, and we encourage you to share as much as you are comfortable with, so that others researching your line will be able to find them.
